My Holiday Star: a new novella

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a romance writer will, almost inevitably, produce at least one holiday-themed story. My first one was the novelette STAR OF WONDER; now there’s a new 34,000 word angst-to-happy-ending M/M romance for you. Click the image below for product link!

Three key things about MY HOLIDAY STAR:

  1. Content alert, no kidding, for depression - up to and including suicidal ideation. This story opens at the lowest-ever low point for main character Rhett. It’s all up from there, I promise, but Rhett’s mental health is an important element of the story.

  2. While Rhett works in the entertainment industry, his love interest Gabriel is a tech guy for a law firm. Their relationship develops almost entirely in and around Rhett’s house in South L.A. It’s a low-key look at the huge proportion of an entertainer’s life that is not on stage or in front of cameras.

  3. Rhett and Gabriel have very different careers, but their hopes and dreams on a personal level are quite similar.

Like the rest of my novels and novellas, MY HOLIDAY STAR shares some characters but can be read as a stand-alone. Rhett has worked with Mark Valance of GIVING IT UP; Gabriel is a cousin of Justin Landau of HUSH.

As usual, I fell in love with my heroes while I was writing, and I hope readers will love them too. Happy Holidays!
