These three F/M novellas, all previously available as single titles, are linked by friendship.

In SET DRESSING, designers Lucy Patterson and Nick Hanover meet on a project for photographer Andy Martin (of EXPOSURE). Nick is a friend of Reza Naderi, hero of DRAWN OUT. Reza is also a designer, but the work of his heart is filmmaking. He meets animation artist Tina Pascual at a film festival. Tina is BFFs with attorney Stella Liu, heroine of THE WHOLE TRUTH. Stella’s hero is Frank Cavatini, also an attorney, and thirty years older.

I like to write characters who are not identical to me.

Lucy is a redheaded white American; Nick is half white English and half Turkish. Reza is Persian American; Tina is Filipina American. Frank is Italian American, Stella is Chinese American.

These characters (with the exception of generation-older Frank) are all in their thirties; thus, the stories are not about self-discovery in terms of ethnicity or religion or what kind of career to have. Also, the relationships are not the characters’ first trip around the track. Frank was previously married, for 42 years; he has adult children. Nick was also previously married and has a child.

Three love stories, three happy endings, plus a bonus short story to sweeten the deal. In the short story you’ll find Max and Anton of NO MORE WORDS, along with Forrest and Julian of PUBLIC OFFERING.

It’s fun for me to garnish a story with characters from other material, but each title stands alone. Obviously, I’m hoping you’ll like my people as much as I do.
